Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.
Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.
The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
